Red Apple Cottage

Red Apple Cottage - Fountain Green, Utah Welcome to the Red Apple Cottage. Our little cottage was first introduced to our family in the 1950’s when my grandparents purchased it and raised their four daughters. Throughout the years it provided a home full of love and laughter. Though they weren’t rich, they always had a beautiful garden and the comfort of their home. Each family member has their own special memories from this home and we are fortunate to be able to continue these memories. KitchenFrom the time I was a little boy, I looked forward to visiting my grandfather and we enjoyed a very special relationship. From rides in the mountains to fishing til dark, some of my fondest memories were spent with him in the Fountain Green area. As a city boy, I learned to appreciate the slower pace that this small town has to offer. BedroomAfter the passing of my grandfather in 1992, the home was sold. In September of 2008, we were thrilled to have the opportunity to purchase the home and continue its legacy. We made immediate plans to provide needed updates and restorations. After many hours of hard work we are excited to share with you all that is special about Red Apple Cottage, named after the abundance of apples from the trees on the property. It is our hope that you will find the same comfort that we have for so many years. We invite you to escape to the tranquil solitude of the Sanpete Valley and Fountain Green at Red Apple Cottage. BedroomThis 3 bedroom, 1 bath home sleeps 6-8. Originally built in the 1920’s, it has the original hardwood floors and cabinets. We have added new appliances, tile and renovated the bathroom. This charming cottage is completely furnished with antiques, new furniture and beds. Red Apple Cottage boasts all the comforts of home with a little taste of the country. Enjoy a relaxed afternoon surrounded by beautiful mountain vistas or take a stroll through the city park and playground just 2 blocks away. Surrounding attractions include hiking, mountain climbing, fishing, golf, historic Manti Temple and pageant. When your day is complete, prepare a meal in the fully-equipped kitchen, enjoy a small selection of family friendly dvds, books and children’s toys. A local baker can also deliver fresh baked goods upon request. Whatever you prefer, Red Apple Cottage is the ideal place for the perfect getaway and all that Sanpete Valley has to offer!
